Is there ever any fear that posting too much to linkedin and having to optimized of a profile could hurt you at your current company? Like could they become afraid that you might be leaving or going out on your own and be less likely to promote or invest in you?
I think that can come up but a good counterargument is that it can shine a positive light on the company, especially when it comes to hiring or brand awareness. Obvs you want to avoid sending the wrong signals out ;).
Would you suggestion for someone trying to grow their SEO on-line presence in away that increases value and helps to recession proof them without hurting their current employee/employer relationship. Example you don't want to leave your company but you do want to position yourself as an expert that people know in case you ever have to leave.

I think that’s perfectly fine. I did that in my career and it always benefitted me tremendously.
And companies shouldn’t expect blood loyalty without limits, just like you can’t expect them to employ under any conditions.
